World Cup is still on!!

World cup is over, unfortunately India did not win. So, nor did England. But I am yet to break the inertia of watching 90 mins battles.

Israel Vs Lebanon is the latest game. Millions of innocent people watching CNN and BBC are seeing hundreds of civilians dying for reasons yet to be discovered. But there are several thousand camera-shy souls now oscillating between heaven and hell who missed the lime-light. Courtesy: selective coverage by media giants.Thousands of Lebanese and scores of Israelis have been massacred. I am loving it, even though US is the biggest gainer because of an unstable middle east. Islamic terrorism, which has some valid reasons for its germination is getting weaker, destruction is creating an opportunity for reconstruction and neutral nations like India are all set to gain prominence. Israel, a real terrorist state, with all kinds of WMD (chemical, biological, nuclear & undisclosed) is doing a balancing act. Crusade is still on, the only difference is that bloodsheding has been outsourced to Jews.

Globalisation is very much in the air. Its Al-Qaida or Hezbollah! They all speak through Al-Zazeera. I still wonder, inspite of so many Bin-Laden tapes CIA & Mossad are still finding it difficult to capture Laden. Is it a case of another selective omission? An alive Bin-laden in Torah-borra is of much greater value than a captured one.

Thanks to Bin Laden, that today 7/11 gets a global coverage, just because there was a 7/7 or a 9/11. Sometimes, I feel that we are more used to such killings. 7/7 was a much bigger catastrophe outside India. Perhaps, for someone in Patna it was just another hackneyed event.
Now, I am loving it as India has a chance in this game. India has a chance to be the 6th nation to veto any sensible move. Indians have a chance to make some money. ISI is now more cautious in its operations. Pakistan is now feeling the pressure after an era of constipation. Now, peace and prosperity has a real chance. With all due regards to thousands dying everyday, I am happy that India has a chance to win this World cup of power, peace and prominence. World Cup is still on...Watch out!!
